Presidential Bank Mortgage, a division of Presidential Bank, FSB, an innovative, growing and well-respected mortgage banker is seeking an experienced Secondary Marketing/Lock Desk Analyst. This position will be based in our Bethesda, MD corporate office.
The Secondary Marketing/Lock Desk Analyst is primarily responsible various activities within the Secondary Marketing department including locking of loans, extending or re-locking loans, addressing changes to loans, analysis of investor pricing and various other projects. 
With a strong focus on customer service, the candidate must accurately address rate lock requests, relay investor policies, research/respond to loan officer inquiries in a time-sensitive environment. 

 Status: Full-Time (Non-Exempt)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Address new lock requests, lock extension requests, lock revisions, relocks, and rate renegotiations with investors
  • Monitor the locked pipeline for lock expirations, stale loans, and other items as needed
  • Generate and distribute timely status reports for the locked loan pipeline
  • Maintain appropriate service levels for requests received from internal staff
  • Update “Guide to Secondary Marketing” and intranet as needed
  • Assist internal staff with questions regarding policies, procedures, scenarios, and guidelines
  • Interpret and communicate investor policies and guidelines to internal staff as needed
  • Analyze discrepancies between expected and actual loan sale execution
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Secondary Marketing functionality and overall functionality of the Loan Origination System (Calyx Point)
  • Complete MERS transfers
  • Complete Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) transfers
  • Send first payment (or Notice of Transfer) letters to borrowers
  • Serve as a backup for other Secondary Marketing team members and functions as needed
  • Other projects or duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and mortgage banking experience preferred
  • Experience with mortgage systems preferred (Optimal Blue and Point/Calyx)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate work
  • Ability to manage time, multi-task, prioritize work in a fast-paced environment with heavy volume of transactions, and ability and experience handling deadlines
  • Exceptional commitment to customer service, with both internal and external customers
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Proven aptitude to work in both a team and individual environment
  • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Internet Browsers and email functions required
  • Sound independent judgment skills to make quick decisions within written policy and standard operating procedures essential
